No, you do not need to download again or re-install the software. The software you downloaded for the trial will automatically become your subscription application. Use your IBMid to activate the software after making your Subscription purchase.
A Subscription plan has simpler packaging, flexible billing options, automatic software updates and user account management features. You have the option to purchase IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription with a credit card on the IBM Marketplace.
Perpetual licenses are the traditional way to purchase SPSS Statistics through an IBM seller or IBM Business Partner. Software authorization codes are required and software updates are manually downloaded from Passport Advantage or Fix Central.

To renew your Perpetual license, contact an IBM seller or IBM Business Partner.
You can reactivate by purchasing a new Subscription plan through My IBM. You do not need to reinstall the application. Once your plan has been purchased, simply log in to the software with your IBMid.

Subscription plans renew automatically each month. You can stop this by logging in to your My IBM account. Find the SPSS Statistics Subscription tile and click “Manage.” Next, click the “Cancel plan” link in the Overview section.

The Subscription application does not require authorization codes. Use your IBMid to activate the software.
To obtain your authorization code, visit the SPSS License Key Center (link resides outside IBM). If you need help obtaining an authorization code, open Support Case.
The SPSS Statistics paid Subscription plan can be used offline, but it requires a user to authenticate their license at least once every two weeks. After 14 days of offline access, the application will stop functioning until an internet connection is established and you log in with your IBMid. A working internet connection is required for this step. We recommend that you download the free trial subscription to ensure compatibility prior to making purchase.
When you purchase SPSS Statistics Subscription, the only information in the cloud is information required to manage your subscription account. All functions and data processed within the application are run on your machine and not in the cloud.

Modeler is focused on the development of models that generate outcomes for operational decisions. It offers a combination of data from many sources and is useful for pattern detection type problems instead of reporting.

IBM provides a data mining and analytics software application named as SPSS modeler. It was originally named Clementine by its creator Integral Solutions Private Limited. SPSS acquired this particular model. When IBM acquired SPSS in 2009, the product was renamed as IBM SPSS modeler. It is available in desktop and server configuration. SPSS modeler provides analytics with the visual modeling capability to leverage productivity improvements. It can consolidate data from multiple file sources from multiple data formats. Download your SPSS software via the IBM License Key Center Express Download page which will be active for 90 days from the original order date. After 90 days, you will be required to download your software from the IBM Passport Advantage website.
Please note that your IBM License Key Center account is separate from your IBM Passport Advantage account. Both websites have a link to help you recover your password if you do not have it.
After installing your software, apply the authorization code(s) to activate your software. To do this, use the License Authorization Wizard utility that comes with your software.
